Development affecting Strathkinness
Headon Developments obtained planning permission to build 30 houses including 8 affordable ones in December 2007.
In a letter dated 12th July 2010 Mr Headon states that he has submitted a new planning application for the site. A copy of Mr Headon’s letter can still be seen by clicking here

Work has now commenced starting with eight mid market rent houses down the side of Main Street which are expected to be completed soon. The terms of rental for these houses require the occupants to have “appropriately sized families”.
Once these houses have been completed work will start on the twenty four further houses that will complete the site. These will be a mix mostly of 3 bedroom one level cottage style properties with a selection of 3 & 4 bedroom two level properties.
