The Floral Display Group
The Strathkinness Floral Display Group is funded from sources tapped by the Community Council who have also assembled a band of some 20 volunteers under the guidance of the CC Secretary. They have applied themselves to setting up and maintaining the various floral displays that are to be seen around the village. Attention has also been given to cleaning up former areas of wilderness such as the herbaceous borders at Wilson's Place. Anyone wishing to help with the maintenance of the garden works should please get in touch with Iain Duncan at secretary@strathkinnesscommunity.co.uk>
The vegetable garden adjacent to the Village Hall is also a communal affair under the overall management of Bob Billson. Anyone who would like to use available space there should contact Iain Duncan in the first instance.
