Big Changes at Hope Park
Our linked Hope Park Church will undertake a structural upgrading of their church and halls suite which will prevent them from holding services of worship and other meetings for about 3 months starting just after the new year.
Your Kirk Session has agreed to offer Strathkinness Church for their use and to welcome their congregation to share with us. Because of size it will be necessary to hold two services at Strathkinness on a Sunday morning and people can attend either service as they wish and share it with our linked neighbours. The services during the period will be at 9.30 am and 11.00 am. We have had discussions with Hope Park representatives and in our Kirk session in the past week and detailed information will be given in the coming weeks.
There may be confusion and some disturbance but also opportunities for cementing our bonds of friendship.
